Overview of The 'Coaching
for Performance’ Programme
The
‘Coaching for Performance’ programme involves
one-to-one coaching. The programme is designed
to enhance your professional development by it
being implemented in the following ways:
As a way to establish and
reinforce your commitment to the process of
considering a new career or enhancing your
development in your current job.
As a way to encourage you
to set clear objectives that focus on your
professional development and to create an action
plan with progressive follow up.
As a programme to provide
work/life skills and structured support to you
so that you are enabled to increase your
performance at engaging in the necessary study,
research and training to achieve professional
development.
As a way to improve your
confidence in your abilities to be successful
and to overcome any self-limiting beliefs that
may affect your performance at work.
As a way to enhance your
motivation by building on your strengths and
achievements so that you can gain professional
development.
As a way to improve your
work/life balance so that you can satisfactorily
maintain a focused effort on gaining
professional development.
As a way to overcome any
obstacles such as, stress, communication,
attitude or interpersonal difficulties, that may
hinder your progress.
As a way to improve your
managerial effectiveness and leadership by
encouraging the adoption of alternative
perspectives and implementing ‘third party’
objective views.
The programme consists of
six coaching sessions that each last
approximately 1 hour. The sessions are usually
conducted on a weekly or fortnightly basis. The
sessions can be conducted in person or via the
telephone depending on your preference. The
programme includes unlimited email and/or
